In this BBC documentary, we can see how easy is to tap on those PEDs (Pin Entry Device) to get access to our financial information. It´s really scary to realize that even the police is not safe and that the “hand over the keyboard” method is useless. The research was sponsored by Cambridge University. The worst is the fact that, despite the evidence, the companies using the system and the credit card issuers are reluctant to admit (and fix) the flaws. After watching it, I´ll be using cash exclusively, just in case…
