New camera, new photos

Finally I gave up and I´m now the proud owner of a digital reflex camera. My new toy is a Nikon D40 and I´m just starting to play with it. So far this piece of equipment is awesome! Last saturday I went photowalking in the oldest part of Pamplona to test it out. The things that have impressed me the most are, aside of the excellent picture quality, the fast shutter speed (compared to my Ixus 40) and the RAW format. I´ve just purchased a Nikkor 55-200mm lens equipped with VR to make sharper photos at larger distances, but it hasn´t arrived yet.

Let´s begin…

Finally, I got this right. Since a long time ago, I wanted to have an english version of this web, for my non-spanish speaking friends and the people that might be interested in my humble opinions. The general idea is to have the same content in both pages (english and spanish) with a small “lag” between them. (I usually write first in spanish, so the english version normally will follow shortly). Please enjoy. Comments, suggestions and assorted rants are always (!) welcome.
